What is Food Sensitivity Testing?
Food Sensitivity Testing is based on a hair analysis that tests your reaction and compatibility to over 500 common Australian brands of foods, drinks, general household, bathroom, kitchen, laundry and personal care products.
This is a non invasive test, so ideal for everyone including children and infants, as it requires only a thumb nail sample of hair.
Coloured hair is suitable for testing, as is saliva if you have no hair.
How would the hair test help me?
If you are suffering long term, unresolved health issues, then the hair test is ideal in helping to identify your symptom triggers.
Food sensitivity tests have proven to be effective for the treatment of:
- Eczema, psoriasis, hives, acne, rashes, itchy, dry and inflamed skin
- Hormonal symptoms and imbalances
- Bloating, reflux, irritable bowel, diarrhoea, leaky gut, constipation, flatulence and poor digestion.
- Headaches, migraines, joint pain and seasonal allergies such as sinus and hay fever
- Recurring and unresolved illness and infections
- Behavioural issues, poor concentration, poor memory, brain fog and low energy levels
- Food cravings, fatigue and poor sleep.
The testing has been created by qualified and respected Australian Naturopaths and used in more than 20 countries. It is the result of over 30 years of research and development.
When will I notice the benefits?
After eliminating the items found to be incompatible and adjusting your diet, you should expect to see a significant improvement in your symptoms within the first 4 weeks.
It is recommenced that these items be avoided for a period of six months to maximise the benefits.
This will give your immune system the best chance to repair and recover.
Retesting after the six month period is highly recommended so items can be slowly reintroduced, or avoided altogether.
What’s included with the test?
The test covers 500+ local food, drinks and household products including all food groups, kitchen, bathroom, laundry and personal care products.
The cost of the test includes postage, testing and a comprehensive report. Once your results are received, we review them and provide you a full copy of the report.
An appointment is recommended to provide you with personalised advice regarding alternate food and product items and answer any questions you may have.
Additional products can be tested by request, such as specific brands, foods or even supplements.
Babies – specific testing for Australian baby foods and products, covers Mum and breastfeeding baby, or a bottle fed baby/infant.
